🌱Abraxas Garden Kitchen
The Abraxas Garden Kitchen, established in 2022, is where the harvest meets the heart. This hands-on, student-powered culinary space brings our school garden full circle—transforming freshly picked produce into delicious meals, vibrant spice blends, and creative culinary projects. Students in our Culinary Arts program learn knife skills, food safety, recipe development, and farm-to-table cooking techniques, all while developing confidence, teamwork, and job-readiness.
Whether they’re preparing a seasonal stir-fry with garden-grown veggies or bottling our signature salsa for a fundraiser, students experience the full cycle of food—from soil to plate. The Garden Kitchen is not only a place to cook, but a place to connect: with each other, with the earth, and with the community we serve.
Through our growing partnerships with local restaurants, grocery stores, and industry leaders, students are bridging the gap between school and the workforce. Several of our culinary students have already landed jobs in food service, putting their skills to use in the real world, earning income, and discovering potential career paths they’re passionate about.
