Goal: To gives English students hands-on experience with identifying promising funding opportunities for the Abraxas Garden Program and then organizing, writing, and monitoring grant applications. 

Pending Projects:

California Fertilizer Association: Request for Proposal submitted on February 15th. Award recipients will be notified on April 15, 2016. 

Whole Kids Garden Grant : Grant application rated as "Highly Qualified" and we are currently waiting for Whole Kids to allocate the next round of funding

Grants Awarded

California Ag in the Classroom Grant: $1,500 for the construction of a tool shed and improvement to the irrigation system.
